Bags To Go travel services, a leader in off-airport baggage check-in, baggage storage and baggage claim and delivery services, today announced its partnership with The Sahara Hotel and Casino. Upon checking out of the Sahara Hotel, guests can now conveniently check their luggage with Bags To Go, which will conduct Transportation Security Administration-approved screening, check the bag for the guests and ensure the luggage reaches their home airport or final destination for only $10 per bag.

“The Sahara Hotel and Casino employs a policy based on high-quality customer service when selecting the amenities offered at our hotel,” says Perry Azarra, hotel manager at the Sahara. “Bags To Go’s services further allow us to cater to our guests, especially those who wish to maximize their experience in Las Vegas and extend their business or leisure vacation without worrying about transporting their luggage to the airport.”

Bags To Go’s off-airport check-in services are available in the main lobby of the Sahara adjacent to the check-in desk and allow guests flying out of McCarran International Airport to bypass the airport check-in counter. The service permits passengers to conveniently check-in their luggage and receive their boarding pass up to 12 hours before departure, extending business or leisure time luggage free for $10 per bag. Travelers can be assured that their luggage will arrive to their final destination safely and securely, allowing travelers to experience all that Las Vegas has to offer.

“Bags To Go is excited to expand our services to guests of the Sahara Hotel and enhance their Las Vegas experience,” says Keith Wiater, founder and CEO of Bags To Go. “Our secure baggage handling services save time, eliminate stress and help extend patrons’ vacations.”

Plan to Make Money in Vegas?

Author: nick21 - Categories: Las Vegas Advice

You should always bring along a photo ID with your current address and something with your name and social security number on it. The IRS requires the casinos to get this information if you hit a jackpot at a machine or do extremely well at the tables. However, don’t carry the document bearing your social security number around with you. If your name, address, and SSN fall into the wrong hands you could become the victim of “credit identity theft”. (You shouldn’t carry your Social Security card in your wallet or purse at all anymore because this applies everywhere, not just Las Vegas. Also check any health insurance cards or school IDs you may have in your wallet. They also often have your SSN on it.) Leave your SSN document in your room, locked in your suitcase. If you do hit it big, the casino will be glad to hold onto your winnings while you go back to your room to get the document.

What to pack for a Las Vegas weekend

Author: nick21 - Categories: Las Vegas Advice

Summer is approaching and that can only mean one thing for you and your girlfriends – Vegas, baby! And I’m here to help you with packing for a sleepless weekend of fun and little trouble.

When I think about Las Vegas, movies such as Casino, where Vegas was a playground of lavishness and indulgence built on some old school Mafia dangerousness come to mind. Now, Las Vegas is not only for adults but families can enjoy the lights and sounds.

Just because Las Vegas has settled down doesn’t mean you have to when venturing to Sin City. For fashion inspirations, I like to take cues from Sharon Stone in Casino. Styles should be of the late 70s and a dash of 80s. I love the palette of gold, fuchsia, teal, white and ….did I say gold? Since you will be spending a lot of time poolside, bring a fierce swimsuit. I like the new Monokini shapes that are becoming popular. As far as evening wear, pack only dresses. A great cocktail dress is perfect for going clubbing while a long, form fitting dress can be a sexy outfit for a dinner and a show.

Don’t be afraid to be a little gaudy. Hone you inner Elvis and layer on the gold. Also a little superstition won’t hurt. One of my friends always starts gathering her luck before going to Vegas by painting her toes a metallic green like the hue Bunny from The Big Labowski used.

Do You Get Freebies For Evaluating Casinos?

Author: nick21 - Categories: Las Vegas Advice, Las Vegas Vacation

NO. I visit a casino/hotel just like you. I check in just like you. I pay for my room just like you. I eat in the same restaurants. I don’t get any special treatment, and the casino/hotels don’t know that I’m coming for an “inspection.” As far as they are concerned, I’m just another visitor. And I am. I just share my experiences on the Internet with as many people as possible.
