See the Bonnie and Clyde Death Car in Vegas

Author: nick21 - Categories: Las Vegas Entertainment, Las Vegas Vacations

If you’re stopping by Primm, NV (Stateline - about 35 miles south of Las Vegas on Interstate 15) stop in at Whiskey Pete’s Hotel & Casino to see the actual bullet-riddled Ford in which the famous bank robbers had their final shoot out with the FBI. A letter from Ford Motor Company authenticates the car as Clyde’s. And a letter he wrote to Ford Motor Company offering his praises as a fine get-away car is also displayed. Read about the last years of Bonnie and Clyde’s turbulent life style. A fascinating piece of American history.

Recently added is the actual blood stained, bullet-holed shirt Clyde was wearing when he was killed. Also on display is a restored Dutch Schultz-Al Capone bullet-proof Gangster Car. The intriguing display is located in the rotunda that joins the resort to The Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas.

Interested in American crime history? If so, this is a must see on your Las Vegas trip.

Las Vegas Cracking Down on Slumlords

Author: nick21 - Categories: Las Vegas Vacations, Uncategorized

The City of Las Vegas is cracking down on slumlords.

The City Council has fined several property owners who own buildings on Bellota Drive.

The City Council is making a push to improve bad neighborhoods around town.

Albert Aguirre lives in the area and says he is glad the City Council is doing something to improve the neighborhood.

“That way my kids can play on the streets,” said Albert Aguirre.

If you know about a property that may be violating a city code, you can report them.

Las Vegas Vacation Home Rentals

Author: admin - Categories: Las Vegas Vacation Homes, Las Vegas Vacations

Sometimes when I goto Vegas I like to stay at a vacation home instead of a hotel.  Sometimes you can actually get a better deal then staying at a hotel on the strip.

Some of the bigger hotels like the Wynn, Bellagio and others can be over $250 a night and for a little room. Why not just spend the same money and get a luxurious 4 bedroom home with a private pool and spa!  Plus if your like me you then won’t spend a fortune on room service and gambling at the hotels casino!! So I usually come out ahead when staying at vacation homes in Vegas.

I will be listing some of my top Vegas vacation home rentals and links to other places you can find a good Las Vegas Vacation home.

Las Vegas is Really Hot in the Summer!

Author: admin - Categories: Las Vegas Vacations, Las Vegas Weather

I think everyone realizes Las Vegas is pretty hot but if your coming to visit Las Vegas for the first time and its between the months of May - September, be ready for some extreme heat! I would not suggest doing any kind of walking down the strip during the day. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and remember to bring Sun Protection products such as Sun Hats or Sun Clothes that are designed to protect you from the sun.

Heres an article from a Las Vegas news station about the dangers of the las vegas heat.

Las Vegas has so much to offer and its still tons of fun even in the summer but just remember to plan your trip accordingly if your visiting during the summer months.
