Have you met someone with that special magic? Are the two of you yearning to be united forever?
If so, we suggest AT YOUR OWN RISK a trip to Las Vegas’ hub of happy matrimony; The World Famous Chapel of the Bells. In continuous operation for over forty years, the Chapel of the Bells has married countless couples in ceremonies ranging from intimate to grand. The pageant can begin with a limousine, which lands you at the Chapel of the Bells in style after you complete legal paperwork at the County Courthouse. A lush garden greets arriving couples at the chapel. The ceremony itself is friendly to all religions, with a non-denominational minister forging the sacred bond. After decades of happy couples, it’s easy to understand the chapel’s motto:
Chapel of the Bells has a proud record in its years of operation- once through its doors, no groom or bride ever got cold feet! Past celebrity marriages include Mickey Rooney, Ernest Borgnine, Pele (the South American Soccer Champion), Kelly Ripa and Beverly DeAngelo. A record number of soldiers tied the knot before Desert Storm. Repeat customers are a big part of the Chapel’s business, with couples renewing their vows as often as once a year. Some families have made the Chapel of the Bells a tradition, with parents returning to watch their kids and even grand kids give new meaning to the words “holy matrimony.”
I took the plunge in Vegas about 15 years ago and did it because I didnt want the hassle of the big wedding. For that reason it worked out well but it’s really not a good idea if your looking for that big magical wedding experience. Its like going out for fast food, good at first, but not really satisfying in the long run!
I would say make sure your ready to get married because I was not and regret it! Its better to have a big wedding for the gifts alone
I think though people that wind up getting married in Vegas have less of a chance to make it in the long run, but its like they know that and thats why they dont want to go through the big hassle of a wedding!
